HIYAA!! Today in class we gained a new member in our group, Mario. After a long conversation with my group we've decided that we are in between doing a romance and drama. Our idea for our film is about an older woman that suffers the loss of her husband, after his funeral she reflects on how they first met. A film that inspired me when we came up with this idea is Someone Great. This has been my favorite movie since I was in middle school. If you’ve watched this movie you would know that it has nothing to do with my idea, but the movie inspired me because although Someone Great is about a breakup and my idea is about a new widow, both of the films show grief. In Someone Great, the main character, Jenny, is grieving a nine year relationship and as she goes through the city of New York, she has bittersweet memories of the person her loved one once was. Like the movie I want to have specific places that the widow has bitter sweet memories of her husband. Another thing that inspired me from this movie was its use of color. Each memory has such vibrant hues of blues, purples and reds.
